Adelaide Stained Glass Studio

Leadlighting expert Chris Tune took over ownership of the 25-year-strong business during 2002 and has since expanded the studio into more of a gallery, specializing in commissioned stained glass and art displays from professional glassblower Tim Shaw and others.

Tim Shaw's carved pieces in particular are fascinating and beautiful. His glass bowls, radically carved and splashed with vivid colour, make completely unique gifts and Chris says people return again and again to add to their collections.

"No two pieces of Tim's work are the same," Chris said. "His work really is extraordinary." After studying glassblowing in the UK and Amsterdam, Tim was asked to undertake his second MA at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London. Since leaving full-time education Tim has worked around the world teaching and demonstrating his unique talents.
